Hi I'm Robyn Temple Pearson

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the state of Maryland. I am a mother and grandmother.

About Me

I am the mother of 5 children, and 18 grandchildren. Our oldest is our daughter and then we have twin sons and two more sons. They are all married and have children. I have been a stay at home mother for most of my adult life and feel so blessed that I was able to do that. I love creativity and love to sew and craft. I started an online business that sells neckline inserts to help with modesty. I love to spend time with my family and especially my grandchildren. I hope to have a positive influence in their lives. My husband is a physicist and has worked in the rocket industry. We have been married 38 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the home of an LDS mother and a father who was a member of another church. My mom did not attend church but wanted her children to be taught the gospel. My parents drove us to church, dropped us off and came back and picked us up. From the time I was small I liked the way I felt at church. The LDS people who I associated with were so great and I wanted to have an active LDS family when I grew up. I knew that my Father in Heaven was real and loved me. As I grew and became an adult my membership in the Mormon church was a very important thing to me and helped me so much. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and I love it. It's teachings are inspired and it teaches the truth. I love the church and the truths of the gospel that I have learned as a member. As I get older my knowledge of the truth of the religious teachings of the LDS church grows. The leaders of our church, our prophets and apostles, are men of such great character. They lead the church through inspiration, which I can feel as I hear them speak. The Holy Ghost has born witness to me many times that what the scriptures say and what the church teaches are true. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that His gospel was changed after He died and He restored it to earth through the prophet Joseph Smith

How I live my faith

I love to participate in my church. I have had the opportunity to lead the young women's group, for girls 12 to 18, in our congregation. I have also led the children's group, for children 3 to 12 years old. I have spent time teaching the little ones in the nursery, ages 18 months to 3 years. I love to be with the sweet little toddlers. As a mom, my first goal was to help my children to come to know God and believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love to help others and share with them my love of the gospel.
