Hi I'm Cody

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

The greatest thing in my life is my family. I have 5 kids who are wonderful and I cherish the time I have with them. My wife is one in a million. She is my eternal companion. In my spare time from being a Dad I am a university professor and a Chaplain in the Air National Guard. Growing up in Montana gave me a chance to learn to work and to love the wide open spaces. Now we live on some land outside of town where I enjoy the peace and quiet. My faith is an anchor to me in times of stress.

Why I am a Mormon

My faith and testimony of the LDS church grew little by little as I grew. I don't have an incident that I can point to that highlights why I believe. It is more like a thousand tiny experiences that have built a firm foundation upon the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in all I do. As I teach my faith orients how I interact with my students and the faith I have in their ability to do good. It guides my beliefs about my role as a father and husband. When faced with difficult situations the first source of input I turn to is always my faith.
