Hi I'm Robert

I'm a Hispanic American, I am Mormon and I like a good adventure.

About Me

I work in various fields, I am a behavioral analyst, a concept artist, and a programmer for a radio broadcasting network. I enjoy doing a lot of different things, photography in the city, or Kayaking in rivers of Florida, or even fencing at the gym. I believe there is much to learn and so many positive things to experience.

Why I am a Mormon

I was just eight years old when a missionary of our church looked at me in my eyes and said. "Your Father in Heaven has a plan for you!" I know that what he said was true, from that day on my faith and testimony just continued to grow. I latter served a mission myself and looked into someones eyes and said the samething that was told to me. I felt it in my deep in my soul, even as I spoke the words. Through of the spirit, I've come to know God lives, He is our Father. His son Jesus Christ gave his life so we could return to live with them again. His plan is plain and simple...and true. Find out for yourself my friend!

How I live my faith

The greatest thing that any man can ever do is to give of his self. I do my best to live up to this principle by helping the members of my Ward whether it be the youth, the fathers and husbands, the mothers and wives, visiting them, offering help when someone just needs a helping hand to move to a new home. I teach lessons on the gospel of Jesus Christ during Sunday School. I know that as I serve my brothers and sisters, I grow and learn myself. I work in the community to promote principles of morality, virtue, courage, and faith among Youth. I also help Adults learn about who they are and how to better communicate with others.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

This is actually a question I was asked when I was 17 years old. I knew the answer the same way I know it now. My sister and I were raised by our mom, and being a single parent is hard, I could tell, I saw it in her eyes sometimes. However she had a special conection with us and with our Father in Heaven. He directed her to the men who held the Power of God in our ward who with that Priesthood did a lot for my mom and us. My mother and all women have their power, motherhood. I know it comes without saying, but women have power concerning their family, as men have a responsibility with their families and they use their priesthood-the power of God to fulfill those responsibilities. We are able to receive blessings of health, comfort, and strength from our priesthood holders. Show more Show less
