Hi I'm Angie

I'm a Mormon. I am a convert to the Church of over 20 years. Life can get crazy, but when God is involved, anything is possible!

About Me

I'm a Developmental Preschool teacher in Idaho, USA. I graduated in May of 2016 with my Master's Degree in Early Childhood Studies. I am married, but we cannot have children. This is difficult in such a family-oriented church, but I know that the Lord has a greater plan in mind for us. We have two small dogs and four cats; they are my kids! I also consider each of my students as part of my life. They are a bunch of cute, busy, little people that I care very deeply about.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a freshman in high school, my best friend decided to take me with her to the activities during the week for the youth. She really only wanted someone to talk with, because the young people didn't think too highly of her. I was allowed to go with her and the rest of the youth to a large conference where we provided service in Tijuana, Mexico for the people, painting schools, fixing houses, etc. It was during that conference that I realized the church was true. I knew that what I felt was something I wanted more of. However, I did not join until I moved away during my sophomore year. I know that this church is true. The people may be difficult to deal with at times, but the teachings are God's ways and God's laws. If we follow those simple commandments, we will have a life full of love and service to others.

How I live my faith

I am surrounded in a small town by members of the church. I love having many coworkers and neighbors as members, but I live in such a way that "those who not know Christ but know me, will come to know Christ because they know me." I attend church almost every week (if I'm sick, I don't share my germs... ;) ) so that I may learn more about my Heavenly Father and more about my fellow members.
