Hi I'm Tim

I feel I'm the most fortunate person because of family and faith , and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Five precious others ... my wife and four children ... are at the center of everything important in my life. Life and who we are becoming provides a richness to each and every day. I cherish these relationships and the experiences we have and will eternally share.

Why I am a Mormon

My understanding of the gospel of Jesus Christ is best expressed in the truths I read in the Book of Mormon and from those who faithfully live it's teachings. I feel a closeness to my Father in Heaven when I strive to live these beliefs or when I observe them in the lives of other faithful followers of Christ. These are precious, sacred moments. The majority of them have happened on Sundays attending a Sacrament meeting or a Sunday School class. This is a testament to me that God is a part of this process and He can be found at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Come and see for yourself.

How I live my faith

I try each day to lead my life by making decisions (home, parenting, work, etc) that are based upon gospel truths. What is right or honest or compassionate? I believe this helps me improve each day as a person who has clear morals and wants to serve others. I've learned over time that my efforts in these areas can bring a sense of fulfillment and happiness. These experiences provoke me to be a genuine friend to others, to seek opportunities to serve and uplift. As I study and reflect on the life of Jesus Christ, these are His qualities that I seek to emulate. To me, being a Mormon is much more than spending time in our churches and learning through worship - meaningful as it is. Being a Mormon is seeing all others as my brothers and sisters and genuinely wanting the best for them and helping them achieve it. This is accomplished at the workplace, in my front yard, at community events, and the many places a father of four busy kids will go. This would perhaps be unattainable if the home and family I am blessed with did not make this a priority. The love we feel for those around us increases when we remember that we are all children of God and that His love transcends all.
