Hi I'm Ben

My wife and I have three boys. I'm an officer in the United States Public Health Service working as a pharmacist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up camping and fishing in the beautiful mountain lakes around Utah. Sometimes that was on foot, other times it was horseback. I have a passion for animals, especially horses and dogs. I enjoy playing sports such as basketball, baseball, soccer, and racquetball. My family means everything to me. Shortly after high school graduation, I spent two years talking to the people of Eastern Ukraine about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The people there still have a special place in my heart. Shortly after returning from Ukraine, I married and continued schooling. I eventually graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy. I spend most of my time now between family, work, and church. My three boys and my wife motivate me to have a more meaningful relationship with Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ restored His full gospel through Joseph Smith. I've received peaceful confirmation that Jesus Christ is in deed the Savior and Redeemer of manking; that He communicates to us today just as he did in days of old - through prophets and apostles and the working of the Spirit; that He loves all of His children and longs for us to be happy and become like Him.

How I live my faith

I serve as an executive secretary in my stake. My service is administrative and helps leaders in my area who are called to teach and minister or feed His sheep. I have the responsibility to visit with several families in my area on a regular basis, ensuring they are physically cared for and spiritually uplifted. I participate in service projects such as cutting wood for the needy to get through the winter and helping people move in and out of the area.
