Hi I'm Wilson Wu

I'm a Student, I love Basketball and Rugby, I'm Chinese, I'm a Missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hey, my name is Wilson. Born and raised in New Zealand. I was raised by my mother who taught me good ethnic values and morals that have helped me to become the man I am. I also have a brother who was baptized and came to church with me also. I am currently studying International Business with Mandarin as my minor at my local University. I have taken a two year break from University so I can serve a full-time mission. I served in the China Hong Kong Mission, the best mission in the world! And I'm also a youth leader.

Why I am a Mormon

I don't know why or how, but I have always strongly believed in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Although I haven't been a Latter-Day saint all my life, I have always felt God in my life. I always knew that I was a child of God. I was confused to why there were so many churches out in the world and why there wasn't just the one church for everyone. When I reached 10 years of age, I decided to go to all the different churches and see who was right and see which one I liked. One of my firends was a member of the church and introduced me to the missionaries. These missionaries were awesome but I still didn't know whether or not I should go to this particular church. On one particular easter weekend, I saw some missionaries on thier bikes and I yelled out to them. They quickly rushed over and handed me a Book of Mormon. When I grasped the book with my hands, I felt the power of the Holy Ghost so strongly that it overwhelmed me. The Holy Ghost prompted me to go to this church and be baptized in His name. I couldn't describe those feelings at that time, but I knew that The Book Of Mormon was true. I went to church later that week and started to recieve the lessons. A month later, I was baptized and have never regretted it since. I KNOW that God lives. He is our Father and He LOVES all of you. I am a witness that Jesus is the Christ, he came and atoned for our sins and now is a ressurrected LIVING being. He lives and He will yet come again. He loves us and and has given us a Prophet to lead us back to our Heavenly Father. I am a witness and testify that as we pray with a sincere heart and real intent then God will manifest unto us the truth by the gift and power of the Holy Ghost. All we have to do is ask him!

How I live my faith

I try to live the Gospel to the fullest of my capabilities. Each day I try to embrace the many trials I have been given and try to use them to my advantage. I have enrolled into a local University and have been joining in the activities with the Young Single Adults who are a bunch of amazing people who have strong testimonies of the Gospel. I prepared myself and served in the China Hong Kong Mission, sharing the Gospel in Cantonese. I absolutely loved it! The best time of my life! Sometimes life gets very hard, but life was hard for Jesus so it should be for us. The Gospel is easy to live, life isn't.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Wilson Wu
Mormons do not worship him. We LOVE and WORSHIP ONLY our loving Heavenly Father and in his son, Jesus the Chirst. Jesus Christ is the head of our church. Jospeh Smith was a prophet who recieved revelation from our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and was instructed on how to restore Jesus Christ's church back on earth. Jesus Christ stands at the head of this church because it is His only true church. Show more Show less
