Hi I'm Seth

I am a Christian - a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I was raised in an active LDS family with 9 brothers and sisters. My wife was also raised in an active LDS family with 9 siblings. We have five children whom we home-school - making this a full-time job for my wife. I am employed in the LDS Church History Library, in downtown Salt Lake City. Before that, I was a computer systems analyst for a U.S. government contractor. My favorite hobbies are studying church, U.S., and world history and philosophy, and discussing what I study with others, who are similarly interested.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, by parents who had personal testimonies of the truthfulness of the Church. Largely through their example and encouragement, I have come to know for myself that this is Christ's true church restored to the earth.

How I live my faith

The most important associations in life to me are with my wife and children. My wife and I take very seriously the Church's counsel to take the primary role in our children's education. To us, that means that we choose not to hand over even part of that responsibility to government schools. Education, to us, means incorporating all true sources of correct knowledge into our learning: Scriptures, history, science, modern-day Prophets, and a personal relationship with God, the source of all truth.
