Hi I'm David

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 42 and I've been a member ever since I joined the Church with my parents when I was 9 years old. I am a father of 8 (six girls and 2 boys) and my wife and I are excited that our oldest will be going on a mission soon. I work in the petroleum industry traveling all over the US selling pipeline and process services. I volunteer a lot of my time with the Boy Scouts of America. I am District Commissioner and I enjoy working with the youth.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 9 and joined with my parents, I knew that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the true church. I felt it in my soul that I was making the right decision to join. I have tried to live my life according to the council of my Father in Heaven through the teachings of His Son Jesus Christ. Though my 33 years as a member, I have never once waivered in my belief. I have had trials and hardships but I have always known that my Father in Heaven was there for me and that my brother Jesus Christ would help me get through the hard times I faced.

How I live my faith

I have the calling to work with the young men as an advisor for the young men who are between the ages of 16 - 18. I enjoy working with them seeing their faith and obedience to the gospel. I spend a lot of my spare time working with the Boy Scouts as a District Commissioner, Quarter Master for Wood Badge, and LDS Chaplain for Scouting events.
