Hi I'm Denise Diane

I'm a Mormon and I love being a Mormon and being able to share my testimony.

About Me

Hi! I was born in Utah. I'm from a normal typical LDS family with five siblings. I'm the fourth generation of being a Mormon on my Mom's side of the family and the second generation of being a Mormon on my Dad's site of the family. I'm taking a big leap of faith by saying that I'm in my mid-thirties and still single. But I'm ok with that.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that it's true. I really don't have a conversion story, in the sense that most people do. I've heard, thoughout my life, that people say that even if you're born into the church, that you will eventually have to convert to the church. When I was around nineteen, that really bothered me, because I've never had any issues or problems over what I've been taught while I was young. I decided to go to my dad and tell him my concerns about it. After I told him he was quite and I knew that he was thinking of what to say. He turned towards me and told me that he thinks I am one of those rare people whose born with a testimony. And when he said that, I knew that it was true. But that didn't stop me from having trials in my life, because I've had many. But through those trials I have been able to gain a stronger testimony of the Gospel. I do know that this church is true because of my experiences that I've had while I was younger. That the Atonement is real and that we can be forgiven of our sins. That Joseph Smith was indeed a true prophet. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, it has changed and will continue to change my life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by fulfilling my callings. I had to put down in the 'about me' section that I'm single because the calling that I have in the church is, being a Singles' Representative. I also try to live my faith by bearing my testimony when ever I get the chance and telling people what I believe in.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Denise Diane
We do believe that a husband and wife can be together forever. It's one of God's gift to us and how He shows His love towards us. Mormons do believe that families will live together in heaven. That's why we're building these temples because in it, through the proper authority, are given the blessings to live together in heaven. Show more Show less
