Hi I'm Troy

I grew up in Eagle River Alaska, I'm a Mormon. I always will be.

About Me

Music is my life. I love writing and performing it. If I don't have some sort of device to record a beat or tune that pops in my head I feel lost. I'm a husband in love and father of 2. I say not what's on my mind but what I feel in my heart. cause I know that no matter what you way if it's the truth your conscience can be clean and free. I try to be a positive influence around those around me. Even when I'm being sarcastic and "mean". 'casue that's how I roll. I'll insult you and compliment you at the same time. and NO! you won't know what to do. but you'll always love me. LOL!

Why I am a Mormon

Peace, joy, confidence, friendship, love, support, help, kindness, trust, honor, and most importantly because of the blessings. Its my life and my choices that I make. If I want to do something I'll do it. No one is going to stop me and no one is going to speak for me. I am Mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ as not only my savior but also my redeemer. I also believe in the AMAZING power of the Holy Ghost to help guide and comfort me. I've prayed about my faith. I've prayed about my desires. And the answers have been very clear about where and who I should be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. I don't walk around preaching to every person I see my beliefs and testimony of the gospel that I do love. I just stick to the script and if people ask me why I won't participate in something or won't do other things I tell them why. I am who I am and I AM a Child of GOD. I love the youth of the church for they are our future. It's their hard work and their obedience that will carry us into the second coming. My Ideal goals in life are to make sure that the youth never feel alone or mislead. Spiritually they are in a very sensitive part of their life. And I'm grateful that I had the leaders in the stake that I grew up in. Without them I would not be the man that I am today. So I will ALWAYS stand by the youths side.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Some make fun and point fingers. Saying that Mormons live in their own world or that we live in a bubble. And I'm okay with that. Because living in an environment that is completely supportive of the true principles of a family is okay with me. I love raising my children with a goal in mind. Knowing that what I teach them will help them bless the lives of those around them by being kind and developing service in there thoughts in deeds make me proud. Knowing that we honor our bodies and respect our health by not objecting offensive substances keeps me strong. Loving my wife and honoring her with all my heart is what keeps our home peaceful. We live a life of faith in Jesus Christ. That by him, and him only, will we be able to gain eternal life and happiness. And that is what we live for. That is what I live for. Show more Show less
