Hi I'm Lynnda

I'm a home schooling mom, I'm a Day Care provider, I'm a seamstress and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of three. I have home schooled my children since they could talk. I run a successful in-home day care. This I do so I could stay home with my children instead of going outside of the home to work. I love doing all kinds of crafts. I love to sew, I have a 6 needle embroidery machine in which I love and I love to decorate cakes. I love teaching my children service and watching them grow in the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the church. When I was 10 years old, something clicked inside of me and I realized what going to church was all about. At that age I took my religion serious. As I was ready to leave home for college, I wasn't sure if I had my own testimony of the gospel or if my testimony was on my mother's. One day I decided to do as Moroni 10:3-5, read the Book of Mormon, study it and then ask God if it is true. I knelt down one day and prayed about it. I waited and did not feel I received an answer. I waited as long as I could yet soon I had to go to work. I finally got up from my prayer and when to work. As I was walking to work an overwhelming feeling came over me and I KNEW the Book of Mormon was true. After that I could not deny how I felt or what I knew. A couple of years later when I was 21, I decided to serve the Lord by going on a mission. One of the best things I have ever done. For those who do not know, The gospel of Jesus Christ is true. If you question it, study and pray about it. Really want to know and you too will receive an answer from the Lord also. Read Moroni 10: 3-5, fast and pray about it and listen with your heart to what the Lord is telling you.

How I live my faith

Right now I teach the 6 and 7 year olds in church. I love seeing them learn about Jesus and the gospel of Christ. I have also been involved in our scouting program for Cub Scouts for 8 years. Scouting is a wonderful program and brings the boys closer to the Lord and all that is good. I visit teach 5 wonderful ladies. They do not want anyone from the church coming over to their home yet I send letters to them each month and a special message of Christ. I have never met them yet two of them have contacted me and Thanked me for writing them. This brings great joy to my heart. Right now I am in the process of helping my oldest son get ready for his mission to serve the Lord for two years. This swells my heart as I see him willingly wanting to serve the Lord.
